Ways to make your businesses sustainable & lower your carbon footprint
Putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do, in early 2021, we added a new modern flat roof extension to our product offering – the most energy efficient flat roof on the market (to date).
Our aim? To retain our market-leading position whilst simultaneously cutting our own carbon footprint in half. Thus far, we’ve done this by:
- Making sure all depots use Green recycling company for waste, so uPVC is recycled with separate glass unit skips.
- Switching all management cars with electric alternatives and substituting the office lighting with more energy efficient illumination.
- We’re currently in talks with Eco-Max GLASS, the most eco-friendly glass window unit available in the UK who plant a tree for every glass unit sold.
- We have also gone paperless to considerably reduce the amount of paper used each day. Brought in in 2019, the positive effect can already be felt, cutting sales and survey times from 20 working days to 5 days.
